Projects I would call Applications

A Strategy for the “6 Applications”
Since you want to expand this, here is a simple way to “future-proof” that page today, even if you only have the barrier pictures:
Create Category Tiles on that page. Even if some are “Coming Soon,” it shows the breadth of the business:
Architectural & Balustrade (Link the current pictures here).
Crane & Construction (Placeholder).
Marine & Yacht Rigging (Placeholder).
Manufacturing & Automation (Placeholder).
Safety & Fall Protection (Placeholder).
Bespoke Engineering (Placeholder).

1. Architectural & Balustrades

  • The Look: Clean, stainless steel, high-end aesthetics.
  • The Content: Use the current barrier photos here. It targets architects and high-end builders.

2. Crane & Lifting Operations

  • The Look: Heavy, greasy, industrial, high-strength.
  • The Content: Anti-spin crane ropes and heavy-duty slings. This targets construction and site managers.

3. Marine & Coastal Rigging

  • The Look: Yachts, marinas, salt-water environments.
  • The Content: 316-grade stainless steel fittings. This targets the marine industry where corrosion resistance is the USP.

4. Material Handling & Automation

  • The Look: Factory floors, production lines, pulleys.
  • The Content: Wire rope assemblies used in conveyor systems or automated machinery.

5. Engineering & Machining

  • The Look: Lathes, CNC machines, bespoke steel parts.
  • The Content: This is where they showcase the machine shop. If they’ve turned a custom socket or bored a specific fitting, it goes here.

6. Safety & Fall Protection

  • The Look: Roof perimeters, safety harnesses, tensioned lines.
  • The Content: Horizontal life-line systems or static safety cables.

A “2026” UI Suggestion for the New Owner

Instead of one long page with 20 photos, suggest a Grid of 6 Tiles on the “Applications” landing page. Each tile has a high-quality icon or photo and a title.

  • When a user clicks “Marine,” they see just the marine photos.
  • This makes the company look much larger and more organized than it currently is.

The challenge with the above ideas is that whilst stock photos could be used. It would be much better to try and use your own. I would see this as a page / section which grows over the next 12 – 24 months.
